Privacy Policy

The short version

Highlight my cursor keeps your pointer movements and settings on your Mac. It does not record your screen or send pointer movements, screen content or hardware identifiers to us. The app has no analytics or third-party crash-reporting service, and no account.

What stays on your Mac

• Preferences. Theme, colours, effects, shortcut and app options, stored locally.
• Trial and access. Trial timing and previously verified access are stored in your Mac's Keychain.
• Pointer position. Read live to draw the highlight. It is never stored or sent anywhere.

App Store purchases

Apple handles downloads, purchases and restoring purchases under Apple's privacy policy. The app uses Apple's verified transaction information to decide trial and lifetime access. To recognise earlier App Store purchases, it checks Apple's receipt on your Mac, including its device-bound hash. That information is not sent to our servers. We never receive your payment card details.

What the app does not do

• No screen recording or screen capture.
• No Accessibility or Input Monitoring permission.
• No analytics, advertising or tracking.
• No account or sign-in.

If you email us for help, we receive the information you choose to include and use it only to answer your request.

This page on huddee.com uses Mixpanel for basic, anonymous page-view analytics. Website analytics is separate from the app, which sends none.
