Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 30, 2026
The short version
Still keeps your Screen Time app selections and focus history on your device. Analytics-enabled updates use Mixpanel for basic product usage analytics. There is no account or advertising. Earlier versions without this integration do not send these analytics.
What Still stores on your device
- Your app selection. Apple's Screen Time picker hands Still an opaque token for each app, category, or website you choose. Still cannot read app names or your usage from these tokens.
- Your current lock. When the lock started and which duration you chose, so the app can restore its state after a restart.
- Focus history. Start and end times of completed locks, used only for the Insights screen (focus time, streak, weekly chart).
- Preferences. Language and whether breathing music is on.
- Purchase status (from version 1.1). Whether you own Still Unlimited or are an early supporter, saved so the app works offline. Apple handles the purchase itself.
All of this stays inside the app's own storage on your device. It is never uploaded, and it is removed when you delete the app.
What Still does not do
- No account or sign-in.
- No advertising tracking, session recordings, or collection of screen content.
- No advertising.
- Locking, breathing, and Insights work offline. Analytics is sent to Mixpanel when connected. If you buy or restore Still Unlimited (from version 1.1), the App Store handles it under Apple's privacy policy.
- No access to your contacts, photos, location, or the content of other apps.
Screen Time (Family Controls)
Still uses Apple's Family Controls framework to shield the apps you choose. Authorization is requested for your own device only (individual mode). Apple processes this permission on-device; Still receives no personal information from it. You can revoke the permission at any time in iOS Settings → Screen Time.
Product analytics
Mixpanel receives explicit events for app launches, locks started and completed, paywall views, verified purchases and successful purchase restores. Each event includes the app and platform, an event timestamp, standard device model, operating-system and app-version metadata, and a randomly generated installation identifier stored on your device. This identifier lets us understand repeat usage; it is not your name, email, advertising ID, or an account. Separate installations are not merged into one person.
We do not send app selections or their tokens, app names, lock durations, stored focus history, or health scores. IP-based geolocation enrichment is disabled in the app, though Mixpanel necessarily receives your IP address when handling the connection. We do not use this data for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
Analytics is processed by Mixpanel to help us understand and improve features. Deleting the app does not automatically delete events already received by Mixpanel. Contact us below with privacy questions or data requests; without an account, we may be unable to associate an installation's records with you.
This website
This website (huddee.com) uses Mixpanel to count page views and clicks. Mixpanel keeps a random ID in your browser and estimates your rough location from your IP address. We never send it your name or email. Website analytics is separate from the app analytics described above.
Children
Still does not ask for age or knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you have concerns about a child’s data.
